Carla's Bio
Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Carla now lives in Prince George, BC with her partner Marco and their son Liam and twin daughters Cléo and Amélie. Carla has worked for many years as a wildlife biologist, specifically in the area of conservation and with endangered species. However, she has always been drawn towards the health sciences and living a healthy and fulfilling life outside of the allopathic model. Carla initially became interested in alternative health modalities in her early twenties. After experiencing profound healing from a chronic condition as a result of a single homeopathic remedy, she immediately knew that she wanted to learn more and share this knowledge with others. Drawn to study Heilkunst in a moment of true resonance, she joined both the DHHP (human) and DVHH (animal) programs with the Hahnemann College of Heilkunst in the spring of 2004. Carla graduated as a Doctor of Medical Heilkunst from the Hahnemann College of Heilkunst and Homeopathy in July 2009. Carla also has a College Diploma in Health Sciences, a Bachelors Degree in Applied Zoology and a Masters Degree in Conservation Biology. She is also a certified yoga instructor. Heilkunst has brought much health and happiness to both her and her family and she is grateful for the opportunity to share this profound system of heath and wholeness with others.
