Over a period of seven weeks, I will guide you through a personal email based home practice making use of multiple digital formats, including: streaming video, mp3 audio, and visual reference documents along with email instruction. The first week begins with a guided 20-minute yoga practice, which serves as the foundation, and each week builds to cover a range of topics, including: Asana, Meditation, Pranayama, Mudras, Yoga Nidra and the Koshas.
Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, this free series is a well-rounded introduction to my work as well as a great way to begin or deepen your current personal yoga practice. I trust you will find that gifting your self a few minutes of full attention on a daily basis will make a tremendous difference in how you feel and in the way you relate to others and the world around you. I encourage you to commit to a daily practice for the best results, however, practicing several times per week will still be a worthy endeavor when a daily routine is not possible.

Sādhanā is a discipline undertaken in the pursuit of a goal. Abhyāsa is repeated practice performed with observation and reflection. Kriyā, or action, also implies perfect execution with study and investigation. Therefore, sādhanā, abhyāsa, and kriyā all mean one and the same thing. A sādhaka, or practitioner, is one who skillfully applies…mind and intelligence in practice towards a spiritual goal.

I really loved the yoga nidra. I have a really hard time staying focused at home doing my yoga practice, but I was able to ignore the phone ringing because my time for self love became my priority! Namaste Carla!

The morning practice is perfect especially the morning after my running clinic. It is providing the welcome movement to stretch out my tired aching muscles leaving me feeling energized and ready for the day.
Thank you again. Having little knowledge of mudras, though I’ve seen many kinds used, is very interesting. I chose apan mudra for my meditation today, as I will gladly accept any aid in releasing toxins and negative energies from my body and my life. It can be somewhat difficult to keep up with my practice, as I also deal with depression, but reminding myself of just how much better I feel when all is said and done helps a great deal.
Hi Megan! I agree, we do feel so much better when we show up and practice, but I hear you that sometimes it can be hard to keep it up regularly. Funny how when we need it most, it can be the most difficult. But remember, even small steps, like a few moments of centered breathing, a couple of mudras, a walk outside to appreciate the beauty of nature – can all shift every perspective. Keep up the great work!!
